At Lamb of God, we are deeply rooted in the historic Christian faith. We also have a strong tradition of offering solid biblical education. Our various ministries provide classes for all ages - 2-year olds through adults. A wide variety of age-appropriate curriculum is carefully chosen. As a result, classes are both interesting and doctrinally sound. Our teachers engage learners in exciting studies from God’s Word – the Holy Bible. In addition, for adults, highly relevant topical studies are provided on a regular basis (e.g., "Assumptions That Affect Our Lives").
We believe that Christians of all ages benefit greatly by being continually in the Word - learning and growing in their faith as they delve more deeply into Holy Scripture. We also believe that topical classes, taught from a Christian worldview, help Christians to live out their daily lives being "in the world, but not of the world."
Our Christian education programs are designed to make sure that we are focusing on what people want and need to know at different stages of life:
Sunday School classes are offered for children from age 2 through the fifth grade. In addition, as part of our Faith Academy, parents can follow along with the same courses as their children, but on an adult level.
The Faith Academy provides classes for adults of all ages. A comprehensive curriculum allows adults to pick and choose from topics that interest them. For those who want to dig deeply into God’s Word, several tracks are available, leading to Certificates at several levels. Classes offered vary by semester. Additional opportunities for learning are provided within small group settings. Small groups are typically composed of 8 – 20 people, including both Lamb of God members and non-members, united by a common bond.
