Lamb of God LWML
The mission of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League is to assist each woman of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod in affirming her relationship with the Triune God so that she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry to the people of the world.
The LWML at Lamb of God welcomes all ladies who are communicant members to join in our mission service and fellowship.
We meet five times a year on the second Tuesday of September, October, December, February and April.
We actively support local, state, national and international missions through volunteering and financial donations.
Some of our mission projects include Lutheran World Relief (making quilts and assembling kits such as health, school, or sewing), collecting cancelled postage stamps (proceeds help ship the above mission items), collecting mites (go to: http://www.lwml.org/missions/mite_history.htm) and financial donations to such organizations as Lutheran Bible Translators, POBLO-TX, Bethesda Lutheran Home, The Dot Lueck Endowment Fund at Concordia University Texas and Lamb of God Youth mission trips.
Servant leaders for 2010-2011 are:
President: Linda Umoh
