Short-Term Mission Trips
Short Term Mission Trips for Families
People of all ages can be part of God's mission and share his love with the world.
Short Term Mission Trips for Adults
Members of Lamb of God have taken short-term mission trips of their own. In fall 2007, Kris Marriott traveled to Bethlehem on a Medical mission with World Missions of The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. For more information on how you can participate in a short term mission visit the LCMS World Mission website or e-mail the mission department at recruitment@lcms.org.
Members from Lamb of God have also organized short term weekend trips to help out at the Oaks Indian Center in North East Oklahoma. This center provides ministry to troubled Native American Children.
Short Term Mission Trips for Youth
Every summer Lamb of God supports our Middle School and High School Youth as they go on short term mission trips. Our youth have been to south Texas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Canada, Mexico, and to Guatemala. They have built a house in Juarez, worked at a home for Indian children in Oklahoma, helped with the construction of a classroom at a Lutheran church in the mountains of Guatemala, assisted in building a new church on the outskirts of Saltillo, Mexico, and much more.
In each of those places youth have shared their faith by singing in local congregations, conducting Vacation Bible School for little children, by talking to people about Jesus. For information on youth mission trips visit the "Summer Missions" section of our youth page for details about upcoming trips.
